This assignment requires you to present a written research proposal for a student-led small-scale research based study (appropriate to the requirements of PE7001 Research Based Study within the MSc Surveying Programme)
 The proposal you develop, and the feedback you obtain, can be used to inform your subsequent Research Based Study module (PE7001)
 Within the proposal, you are required to develop a sound and informed plan for your research based study based on an understanding of the research
process, informed by reference to research literature. It should include the following aspects:
o Purpose and focus of the proposed research study: ie proposed aims and objectives (intended outcomes) for your study; definition of research
question(s) to be addressed or hypothesis to be tested; rationale for proposed focus, grounded in evidence from practice and theory (why relevant and significant)
