“As a freshman-to-be at ABC University, I own my deepest gratitude to the Careers Team at XX College. Applying for universities can be an arduous task, but I was exceptionally fortunate to have had my teachers’ guidance and support every step of the way.

I would be ever grateful, in particular, for the generous administrative support from my teachers. They helped polish my personal statement and had all the supporting documents and references meticulously prepared well in advance. It is indeed daunting for a 17-year-old to make career decisions and meet multiple deadlines while sitting for the DSE, and they genuinely understand that.

Although the haste during the application period was slightly unsettling, throughout the years at XX College I had been adequately prepared for admission. Alumni support, which grows stronger every year, is crucial to my understanding of career options and interview techniques. The sharing sessions with the old boys and career talks all helped clear the path through the maze of information out there.
