Introduction:

2)  Write an introduction using at least ONE strategy taught in class.  Refer to one or two different articles to set up the situation.  Have a working argument.  Here is the list of the five strategies for an introduction:

  1. a)  Move from general to specific.
  2. b)  Use statistics and facts.
  3. c)  Ask a question.
  4. d)  Use a quotation.
  5. e)  Use an anecdote or narrative.

3) Write a ONE paragraph argument paper (300 – 400 words).  ONE introduction 250 words.  Around 500 words maximum.

4)  Find an article to use for the introduction to set up the context.  Have a working argument.  But no points will be given for the thesis.  It can be loosely structured.

5)  No conclusion is required.
