Energy resources are important to power economies, as we have seen with the increase in crude oil prices around the world. Some countries that are dependent on energy resources such as crude oil for foreign exchange are experiencing an economic boom. Energy is also on the agenda of many global scientific conferences because of the relationship between energy and environmental problems.
